I can't figure it out. I practice it but all i get is a bunch of fret buzz

If you get a bunch of fret buzz, it may be from how you have the action or something else set up on the bass. Also, it may simply be due to not tapping hard enough, which is common amongst beggining tappers, or simply where you hit the fretboard to play the notes. Just practice, and hopefully it works out. However, if you could make a video or better describe your technique, we could probably help you out better to figure out the problem.
