i need some help with my jazz bass. I took it to my music shop to get new strings and a bridge adjustment. It was fine for about a week then the strings started to feel old again. Also i get a lot of fret buzz especially on the fifth fret. I thought about just getting the tools to adjust the bridge so i could do it myself. Any idea where i could get them?

Also i use a low tuning which probably doesn't help a lot (c sharp, g sharp, c sharp, f sharp) its like D tuning but an extra half step down. Are there any special strings i could use to counter the loose feeling?

My favorite brand by far is Elixir with their nanoweb strings.
